Terms of Service

1. Independent product and no affiliation

Mastros is an independent third-party product.

Mastros is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise officially connected with LinkedIn Corporation, LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Microsoft Corporation, or any of their affiliates.

"LinkedIn," "Sales Navigator," related names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their use in the Service is solely descriptive and identifies the third-party platform with which the Service is designed to operate.

Your use of LinkedIn and Sales Navigator remains governed by the agreements between you and LinkedIn. Mastros cannot grant you any right to access, copy, export, retain, or use LinkedIn content.

2. Important platform-risk notice

LinkedIn's terms, policies, technical controls, and enforcement practices are controlled exclusively by LinkedIn and may change at any time.

LinkedIn may prohibit or restrict browser extensions, extraction tools, scraping, copying, automated access, or certain uses of information obtained through its services. Your use of Mastros may therefore breach your agreement with LinkedIn or result in warnings, checkpoints, reduced functionality, temporary restrictions, suspension, or termination of your LinkedIn account.

Mastros does not represent or guarantee that:

• use of the Service is permitted by LinkedIn;
• LinkedIn will not detect or restrict your activity;
• the Activity Guard will prevent an account restriction;
• read-only operation makes the Service compliant with LinkedIn's terms;
• any particular number, speed, or pattern of exports is safe; or
• LinkedIn will continue making its pages or information available.

You are solely responsible for reviewing the current LinkedIn terms and deciding whether to use the Service.

3. Description of the Service

Mastros is a browser-based data-export tool. It is designed to extract information that has already been loaded or displayed within a LinkedIn or Sales Navigator session opened by the user.

Depending on the page and current version, the Service may support exporting information from:

• people and company searches;
• Sales Navigator lead and account searches;
• saved lead and account lists;
• job searches and job-detail pages;
• post searches and visible post engagement;
• company employee pages;
• profiles and company pages;
• the user's visible LinkedIn connections; and
• other supported LinkedIn surfaces identified in the Service.

The Service may optionally open supported LinkedIn pages in background tabs to collect additional information visible on those pages.

The Service is designed to be read-only. It does not intentionally:

• send connection requests;
• send messages or InMails;
• follow profiles or companies;
• like, comment on, share, or repost content;
• apply for jobs;
• automatically save leads;
• request your LinkedIn password;
• export LinkedIn authentication cookies; or
• solve or bypass CAPTCHAs, checkpoints, access controls, or authentication barriers.

The fact that the Service is read-only does not remove your legal, contractual, or privacy responsibilities.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service.

Where you use the Service for an employer, client, company, or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act on its behalf. In that case, "you" also includes that organization.

You must not use the Service if you have been prohibited from doing so by applicable law, by a binding court or regulatory order, or by an organization whose account or systems you are using.

5. Limited licence

Subject to these Terms, Mastros grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable licence to install and use the Service for your own lawful internal purposes.

This licence does not transfer ownership of the Service or any Mastros intellectual property.

You may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, reproduce, modify, white-label, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative products from the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by mandatory law.

6. Permitted use and user responsibility

You may use Mastros only for information that you are legitimately authorized to access and process.

You are responsible for ensuring that every export and every subsequent use of exported data complies with:

• applicable privacy and data-protection laws;
• intellectual-property and database-right laws;
• anti-spam, direct-marketing, and electronic-communications laws;
• employment, recruiting, consumer-protection, and anti-discrimination laws;
• confidentiality duties and contractual restrictions;
• LinkedIn's current terms and policies;
• your employer's or client's internal rules; and
• any other laws or obligations applicable to you.

You must determine whether you have an appropriate legal basis for processing personal data. Depending on your activity and jurisdiction, this may require consent, legitimate interests, contractual necessity, a legal obligation, or another valid basis.

You are also responsible for providing any legally required privacy notices, respecting objections and opt-outs, responding to data-subject requests, applying appropriate retention periods, and protecting exported information against unauthorized access.

7. Fair use, fair dealing, research, and other exceptions

Some jurisdictions recognize concepts such as fair use, fair dealing, quotation, research, archiving, text and data mining, or other exceptions to copyright and database rights.

Mastros does not determine whether any such exception applies to your activity.

Where you rely on fair use, fair dealing, legitimate interests, research rights, or another legal exception, you are solely responsible for confirming that all conditions of that exception are satisfied.

An intellectual-property exception does not necessarily:

• provide a lawful basis for processing personal data;
• override confidentiality obligations;
• override LinkedIn's contractual terms;
• authorize access to restricted information; or
• permit unsolicited marketing or resale of personal information.

8. Prohibited conduct

You must not use the Service to:

• access or attempt to access information you are not authorized to view;
• bypass authentication, CAPTCHAs, checkpoints, access controls, usage restrictions, or security measures;
• use stolen, shared, rented, fabricated, or unauthorized LinkedIn accounts;
• conduct unlawful surveillance or systematically monitor individuals;
• harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or target another person;
• send spam, unlawful cold outreach, or communications prohibited by applicable law;
• build or sell unlawful marketing databases;
• resell, broker, publish, or redistribute exported personal data without a valid legal basis;
• infer or profile sensitive personal characteristics unlawfully;
• discriminate in employment, housing, lending, insurance, or access to services;
• create facial-recognition databases or other biometric identification systems;
• collect information about children where prohibited;
• infringe copyright, database rights, privacy rights, confidentiality, or other third-party rights;
• misrepresent your identity, purpose, authorization, or affiliation;
• use multiple installations, accounts, identities, or technical measures to avoid Mastros plan limits;
• interfere with the Service, its infrastructure, billing system, usage metering, or security;
• introduce malicious code or use the Service in connection with malware;
• reverse engineer or exploit the Service except where mandatory law expressly permits it; or
• assist another person in carrying out prohibited activity.

Mastros may suspend or terminate access when it reasonably believes the Service is being misused.

9. Your responsibility for exported data

Extracted records are generally processed and stored locally in your browser and exported to files under your control.

Mastros does not select the people whose information you export, determine your purpose, verify your legal basis, or control what you do with exported files.

For data-protection purposes, you will generally be the independent controller or responsible party for the personal data you export and subsequently use.

You are responsible for:

• checking the accuracy and relevance of exported data;
• collecting only what is reasonably necessary;
• securing browser storage and downloaded files;
• controlling who can access exported data;
• maintaining appropriate records of processing where required;
• deleting data when no longer necessary;
• handling access, correction, deletion, objection, and opt-out requests; and
• investigating and reporting any security incident involving your exported files.

You must not assume that information is unrestricted merely because it was visible on LinkedIn.

10. Plans, allowances, and technical limits

At the date of these Terms, the Service is configured with the following billing-cycle allowances:

• Free: 250 unique records;
• Pro: 2,500 unique records; and
• Scale: no fixed Mastros billing-cycle record allowance.

A record normally counts after Mastros deduplicates it. Billing-cycle dates, plan status, and recorded usage are managed through the Service's account system.

"Unlimited" or "no fixed record allowance" does not mean unlimited technical capacity or unrestricted platform use. All plans remain subject to:

• technical per-run maximums;
• browser and device limitations;
• LinkedIn page availability;
• service-integrity controls;
• reasonable-use restrictions;
• Activity Guard behaviour;
• maintenance; and
• these Terms.

Mastros may modify plans, prices, allowances, or features prospectively. The price, currency, billing period, and features displayed at checkout take priority over older marketing material.

11. Activity Guard

The Service may include local pacing, counters, warnings, cooldowns, or stop states referred to as the "Activity Guard."

The Activity Guard is an advisory product feature based on internal settings. It is not supplied, approved, or verified by LinkedIn.

It is not:

• an official LinkedIn limit;
• a guarantee against detection;
• a guarantee against restrictions;
• a legal-compliance tool;
• an anti-detection system; or
• a substitute for your own judgment.

You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to continue using LinkedIn.

12. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are processed through Stripe or another payment provider identified at checkout.

Subscriptions are normally:

• billed in advance;
• automatically renewed for the selected billing period; and
• charged using the payment method associated with your Stripe account.

You authorize the applicable recurring charges until cancellation.

You may cancel through the billing portal available in the extension's settings. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, cancellation prevents future renewal and the paid plan remains available until the end of the already-paid billing period.

Plan changes may take effect immediately and may result in prorated charges or credits processed by Stripe.

You are responsible for applicable taxes unless the law requires Mastros to collect them.

13. Refunds and mandatory consumer rights

Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, subscription fees are non-refundable after the relevant billing period has begun.

Contact admin@mastros.online if you believe a payment was unauthorized, duplicated, or made in error.

Nothing in these Terms excludes withdrawal, refund, conformity, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. Where legally required, information concerning immediate performance and any applicable withdrawal right will be provided during checkout.

14. Service availability and third-party changes

The Service depends on third-party technologies, including Chrome, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Cloudflare, Stripe, and PostHog.

LinkedIn may change page structures, selectors, navigation, permissions, account limits, or technical protections without notice. Such changes may cause extraction modes to stop working, return incomplete data, or require an extension update.

Mastros does not guarantee:

• uninterrupted availability;
• permanent compatibility with LinkedIn;
• successful extraction from every page;
• completeness or accuracy of exported information;
• availability of any particular feature;
• preservation of locally stored datasets; or
• recovery of files deleted from your device.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, maintenance, or product development.

15. Security and account protection

You are responsible for securing your browser, Google account, LinkedIn account, device, downloaded files, and any systems into which you import exported data.

Mastros will never need your LinkedIn password to provide the described functionality. Do not send your password, authentication cookies, or one-time security codes to Mastros support.

You must promptly notify us if you believe your Mastros subscription or account information has been compromised.

16. Intellectual property

The Mastros software, design, interface, documentation, branding, and original website content are owned by Mastros or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not grant Mastros ownership of information that you export, and they do not grant you ownership of LinkedIn's platform, content, trademarks, or data.

You must separately obtain any rights required to reproduce, publish, commercialize, or distribute third-party content.

17. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Uninstalling the extension does not automatically cancel a paid subscription; subscriptions must be cancelled through the billing portal.

Mastros may suspend or terminate your access where reasonably necessary because of:

• a material breach of these Terms;
• unlawful or abusive activity;
• attempts to evade plan limits;
• security risks;
• failed or reversed payments;
• requests from competent authorities;
• third-party platform or infrastructure requirements; or
• discontinuation of the Service.

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue, unless immediate action is necessary to prevent harm or comply with law.

18. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

Mastros disclaims warranties regarding availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, compatibility, and results.

Mastros does not provide legal advice and does not warrant that your use of the Service or exported data complies with LinkedIn's terms or any applicable law.

You should independently verify exported information before relying on it.

Nothing in this section limits warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

19. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mastros will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, including loss of profits, revenue, opportunities, goodwill, business, or data.

In particular, Mastros is not responsible for losses arising from:

• restrictions, suspension, or termination imposed by LinkedIn;
• changes to LinkedIn or Sales Navigator;
• your collection or use of exported data;
• unlawful or unsolicited outreach;
• third-party claims concerning privacy or intellectual property;
• inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated LinkedIn information;
• deletion or corruption of locally stored data;
• unauthorized access to your browser or exported files; or
• outages or failures of third-party providers.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, Mastros' aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of:

1. the amount you paid to Mastros during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
2. EUR 100.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

20. Business-user indemnity

Where you use the Service in the course of a business, profession, or commercial activity, you agree, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify Mastros against third-party claims, regulatory costs, damages, and reasonable legal expenses arising from:

• your unlawful collection or use of exported information;
• your violation of privacy, marketing, intellectual-property, or platform rules;
• your communications with people contained in an exported dataset;
• your breach of these Terms; or
• your infringement of another person's rights.

This section does not apply to the extent a claim was directly caused by Mastros' own unlawful conduct.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, law, providers, or business practices.

The updated date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the website, extension, email, or another reasonable method where required.

Changes apply prospectively. If you do not agree to an update, you must stop using the Service and cancel any subscription before its next renewal.

22. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the service operator, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections applicable in the country where a consumer habitually resides.

Consumers may bring claims before any court available to them under mandatory consumer law. Any other disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved by the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and Mastros agree to make a reasonable attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting admin@mastros.online.

23. General provisions

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The unenforceable provision will be interpreted or replaced as closely as legally possible to its original purpose.

Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer these Terms without Mastros' written consent. Mastros may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a reorganization, sale, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and information displayed at checkout, form the agreement between you and Mastros concerning the Service.
