Terms of Service

1. What the Service is

The extension runs in your browser on www.instagram.com and helps you export data that your own logged-in session can already see, into files on your own computer. It is a tool that automates reading and formatting. It does not log in on your behalf, does not bypass access controls, and cannot reach anything your account cannot reach.

For Instagram that means followers, following, comments, likers, posts, stories, highlights and the media attached to them — and, with your explicit consent, your own direct messages.

The message export is opt-in and revocable. It reads only your own inbox — there is no way for it or for anyone to reach another person's threads — and it does not start until you have been shown what it reads and agreed. You can withdraw that agreement in the extension's settings at any time. The message text goes into the file you save and nowhere else. Opening a conversation marks it read, exactly as opening it yourself does.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 16 and able to enter a binding contract. Your licence is tied to your Chrome profile email or, if you are not signed in, to an install identifier on your device. You are responsible for activity under your licence.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• access data you are not entitled to see, or circumvent any technical restriction, login wall, rate limit or security measure;
• send unsolicited messages, spam, or bulk outreach in breach of the law that applies to you;
• harass, stalk, profile or endanger any individual, or build a dataset whose purpose is to do so;
• resell, redistribute or publish the extracted data as a dataset or data product;
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the extension itself, or share your licence with others.

Instagram's own terms still apply to you. Using an automated tool may breach them, and Instagram may rate limit, restrict or ban accounts at its discretion. That is a risk you accept and manage — see Instagram's terms. We pace requests to reduce the risk, but we cannot eliminate it and we do not indemnify you against it.

4. Data you extract

The files you produce are yours and never pass through our servers. That also means the responsibility for them is yours: where the data concerns identifiable people, you act as the data controller and must have a lawful basis for collecting and using it, honour the rights of the people in it, and comply with the data-protection law that applies to you. We are not in a position to answer their requests on your behalf, because we never hold their data.

5. Plans, billing and refunds

• A free tier is available with a periodic row quota. Paid plans raise that quota and are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled.
• Prices are shown before purchase. Taxes may be added depending on your location.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period and is not pro-rated.
• If the extension does not work for you and we cannot fix it, write to admin@mastros.online and we will refund the current period. We would rather refund you than argue.

6. Availability and platform changes

Instagram changes its site without notice, and those changes can break extraction until the extension is updated. We work to keep it working and ship fixes as quickly as we can, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular extraction rate, or that any specific surface will keep working. Quotas and pacing may be adjusted to stay within what the platform tolerates.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or for action taken against your Instagram account. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate a licence that breaches these Terms, in particular the acceptable-use section, or that abuses the free tier. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why first.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the effective date above will move when we do. Material changes will be signalled in the extension or on this site. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
