Five ways to save

Each one is built for a different job, and all five work the moment you install. There are no modes to choose between and nothing to connect.

Group Members

Saves the members of one group or many groups.

  • Names, @handles, user IDs, roles, bios and phone numbers
  • Use the group you have open, or pick from your group list
  • Repeats are removed when you save more than one group
  • If a group hides its member list, it saves everyone who has posted instead

Chat Messages

Saves the messages in an open chat, with who wrote them and when.

  • Message text, sender, time, and replies or forwards
  • The same message is never saved twice
  • You choose how many messages to save

Recent Contacts

Saves the people in your latest chats.

  • Choose how many recent chats to look at
  • You can skip pinned chats and leave out bots
  • Names, @handles, user IDs and bios where Telegram has them

Mutual Groups

Finds the groups you share with someone, then saves the members.

  • Type an @handle to see the groups you share
  • Tick the shared groups you want
  • Finding and saving happen in two easy steps

Media Download

Downloads photos, videos, files and voice notes from any chat or channel you can open.

  • Photos, videos, files, audio and voice notes
  • Say how many messages to scan; each item carries its type and date
  • File names and details are kept as they were
  • Each file you download counts as one message in your monthly limit

Frequently asked questions

It is a Chrome extension that saves members, messages and chat details from Telegram chats you can already see on Telegram Web. It adds a panel to web.telegram.org with five ways to save, and it makes CSV, JSON or JSONL files.

Open the group in Telegram Web. Pick Group Members in the Mastros panel and start it. When it is done, save the list as CSV and it opens right in Excel and Google Sheets. JSON and JSONL work too. You can save several groups at once, and Mastros takes out the people who show up twice.

Yes, for any group or channel you are already in. Group Members reads the member list you can see. When a group hides that list from ordinary members, it saves everyone who has posted in the chat instead. It cannot open groups or channels you have not joined.

Use Recent Contacts to save the people in your latest chats, or Group Members to save a whole group. Both make CSV, JSON or JSONL files with names, @handles and user IDs, plus phone numbers where Telegram shows them.

No. Saving only reads, and it happens on your side. Telegram tells no one, and you save only what you can already see. Mastros never sends messages, never joins groups, and does nothing others can see.

No. The extension only reads, and you start it yourself. It never sends messages, adds or invites people, or joins groups. Nothing happens on its own.

No. It works on Telegram Web (web.telegram.org) in Chrome or a Chrome-like browser. It does not work in Telegram Desktop, the phone apps or other Telegram apps.

No. There is one way to save and it needs nothing from you: no API keys, no second login, no modes to pick between. It reads the Telegram Web session you are already signed into, so every tool works the moment you install it.

No. You stay signed in to Telegram Web the normal way, and the extension reads that session. We never ask for your password, and there are no Telegram API keys to create or store.

No. It can only save chats and groups you can already open in your own Telegram account.

Reading what your own signed-in Telegram account can already see, and saving it for your own records, is a different question from collecting and redistributing other people's personal data. Mastros only does the first — it cannot reach a group you have not joined. What you do with the file afterwards is governed by Telegram's Terms of Service and by privacy law where you are, GDPR in the EU and equivalents elsewhere. Mastros is not a law firm and this is not legal advice. Is Telegram scraping legal? The 2026 compliance guide

No. There is no API ID, no API hash, no bot token and no verification code to obtain — Mastros never asks for any of them, because it does not talk to Telegram's API at all. It reads Telegram Web in the browser session you are already signed into. Every guide that has you register an application at my.telegram.org is describing a different kind of tool. Why browser exports need no Telegram API hash

No. Everything it finds stays in your browser. We only talk to our server for your account and billing, and for counts that hold no personal data. Your Telegram data never goes to Mastros servers.

CSV, which opens in Excel and Google Sheets. JSON, which is one tidy list. JSONL, which is one record per line and is handy for tools like jq. Photos and files come as one ZIP.

If Telegram asks it to slow down, it sees the message, waits the time Telegram asks for, then keeps going. A long run is also split into bounded chunks you can carry on from, so nothing hammers Telegram in one go.

Free gives you 250 profiles and 300 messages a month, with every tool unlocked. Pro is $9 a month for 5,000 profiles and 10,000 messages. Scale is $18 a month for 100,000 profiles and 500,000 messages. Each file you download counts as one message. You need no credit card to start.

Yes. Media Download saves photos, videos, files, audio and voice notes from any chat or channel you can open. Choose how many messages to scan. The run returns each item with its type and date, so the results can be narrowed to just the media and the period you want. File names and details stay the same, and everything comes as one ZIP. Each file counts as one message in your monthly limit.
