Mastros's WhatsApp media downloader saves every photo, video and voice note from a WhatsApp Web chat or group to your computer in one run. It runs inside your browser on web.whatsapp.com, so there is no desktop program, no second login and nothing uploaded anywhere.

I tested the extension and everything I tried worked smoothly chat messages exported successfully to csv, group members were well organized, and media was downloaded into a zip file i especially liked that it can find a member’s profile name when it isn’t shown in the group.

Its main limitation is important: it can only export data that WhatsApp Web has already loaded and displayed. It cannot reveal hidden phone numbers, access chats you don't have permission to view, or retrieve an entire conversation beyond the currently loaded history. It is also read-only—it doesn't send messages, add contacts, or automate WhatsApp actions.
