What you get

It works on your computer, and it never does anything on its own.

It runs in your browser

The work happens on your computer. Nothing goes to Mastros servers.

CSV, JSON and JSONL

Pick the file type you want. CSV opens in Excel and Google Sheets.

It never sends anything

No messages, no auto-replies, no group joining, no invites. It only reads what is already on screen.

Every run is saved

Each run is kept on its own, so you can come back and save the file again.

You keep what it found

If you stop a run, or you reach your monthly limit, the rows it already found stay.

Numbers stay private

You see a phone number only if WhatsApp Web shows it. Hidden numbers stay hidden.

Pricing

Same paid plans. Different free limits.

Pro and Scale are the same for WhatsApp and Telegram. Only the free plan is different. Pick a tool to see its free limits.

Private from the start

Mastros — WhatsApp Scraper never sends your messages, contacts, phone numbers, chat names or group names to Mastros servers. The work happens in your browser.

We count how often the tool is used. Those counts never hold message text, phone numbers, names, chat titles, group titles or any WhatsApp content.

Frequently asked questions

It is a Chrome extension that saves contacts, group members, messages and media from WhatsApp Web chats you can already see. It adds a panel to web.whatsapp.com with four tools, and it saves your data as CSV, JSON or JSONL.

Mastros does not do the things that get WhatsApp accounts banned. It sends no messages, joins no groups, adds nobody, and makes no requests of its own — it reads what WhatsApp Web has already rendered in your own session. There is no API client and nothing runs in the background. What remains is your side of it: WhatsApp's Terms of Service govern how you use the file, and bulk messaging people who did not ask to hear from you is what actually gets accounts banned, whatever tool produced the list.Avoiding WhatsApp bans when exporting

You can, and Mastros would rather say plainly where the line is than leave it implied. Exporting a group you run so you can keep records, or so you can reach members who expect to hear from you, is what this is for. Buying nothing, guessing nothing and messaging strangers in bulk because their number appeared in a group is what gets accounts banned and what anti-spam law is about — CAN-SPAM in the United States, GDPR in the EU, and equivalents elsewhere. Mastros builds the file; the sending is yours, and so is the responsibility for it.

Open the group in WhatsApp Web. Pick the Group Members tool in the Mastros panel and press save. You get names, roles and phone numbers where WhatsApp Web shows them. Choose CSV and the file opens right in Excel and Google Sheets. JSON and JSONL work too. For your chat list, use the Recent Contacts tool.

No. WhatsApp tells no one when you save a chat. The tool only reads what you can already see in your own WhatsApp Web, and it keeps the file on your computer. It sends nothing and does nothing others can see.

The Chat Messages tool saves the messages that are loaded in the open chat. WhatsApp Web loads older messages as you scroll, so scroll up until you can see the ones you want. Then save them as CSV, JSON or JSONL. It reads only what is on the page, and it cannot bring back deleted messages.

Yes. The Media Download tool saves the photos, videos and voice notes from the chat or group you have open, in bulk, straight to your computer. It saves only media your own WhatsApp Web can show you — it cannot recover deleted or view-once files.

No. It works on WhatsApp Web (web.whatsapp.com) in Chrome or a Chrome-like browser. It does not work in the phone app or the desktop app.

No. It does not connect to WhatsApp's API and it does not link to your account. It never sends, schedules, auto-replies or forwards to a list. It reads what WhatsApp Web has already put on the page.

No. You see a phone number only if WhatsApp Web shows it. Hidden numbers stay hidden. There is no way for it to pull full history or bring back deleted messages.

No. Everything it finds stays in your browser until you save the file. We only talk to our server for your account and billing, and for counts that hold no personal data. Your WhatsApp data never goes to Mastros servers.

CSV, which opens in Excel and Google Sheets. JSON, which is one tidy list. JSONL, which is one record per line and is handy for other tools.

Free gives you 100 profiles and 100 messages a month, with every tool unlocked and no account needed. Pro is $9 a month for 5,000 profiles and 10,000 messages. Scale is $18 a month for 100,000 profiles and 500,000 messages.

Please use it fairly
